About

Welcome to the website for Resilience Through Relationships, we’re glad you’re here and we look forward to collaborating with you and your early childhood educational community!

The RTR team includes professionals from across the United States who have come together to provide professional development trainings, continuing education classes, and program consultations for all members of early childhood educational programs in order to build strong communities and foster healing for both children and adults in the context of challenging experiences.

The RTR team teaches set of 5 concrete caregiving tools originally developed by the not-for-profit parent-support organization Hand in Hand Parenting which we have adapted for use in early childhood educational communities. RTR’s use of these tools is guided by the Attachment, Regulation & Competency (ARC) Framework developed by Margaret Blaustein, PhD and Kristine Kinniburgh, LICSW to support youth and families in a wide range of settings who have experienced multiple and/or prolonged traumatic stress(es) (https://arcframework.org/what-is-arc/about-us/arc-developers/).

Our team provides professional development trainings in many formats, ranging from 2-day workshops, full-day and half-day sessions, and 6-week online/by phone introductory classes.
